Cardiff City have so far signed 5 players during pre-season, The first signing was goalkeeper Joe Lewis who signed on a free transfer from Peterborough United. The second signing of pre-season was Jordon Mutch who completed his transfer from Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee. Signing number 3 was forward, Etien Velikonja who signed from Slovenian club NK Maribor for a fee of around £2 million. Signing 4 is midfield player Kim Bo-Kyung who is currently playing in the Olympics for South Korea, He signed from Korean side Cerezo Osaka for around about £2.5 million pounds. The latest signing however is striker Heidar Helguson who signed from QPR on a free transfer inside of the last 2 hours who helped QPR achieve promotion in the 2010/2011 season.
