Norwich City planning ahead.

New manager Chris Hughton with players Butterfield, Holt
and Whittaker.
A new season, a new manager and some new faces in the Carrow Road changing room. Norwich City are planning ahead for the 2012/13 season, under the watchful eye of new manager and ex Tottenham defender Chris Hughton. After a relatively successful preseason, beating Scottish champions Celtic and Peterborough United, the Canaries should be looking forward to the forthcoming season. They’ve improved the squad with a few new signings, hoping to add a bit more excitement to the Norfolk team, such as; Robert Snodgrass from Leeds, Michael Turner from Sunderland, Steven Whittaker from Rangers and youngster Jacob Butterfield from Barnsley.

Add these players to the team they’ve already got, with players such as England international John Ruddy and top striker Grant Holt, Norwich will be looking forward to try and improve their 12th place finish last year.

The season will kick off for Norwich away at Craven Cottage against a tough Fulham squad, and the first home match being against relegation tipped QPR.

Let’s hope the Canaries can stay up again this year, bringing even more pride to East Anglia, only one way to find out, bring on 2012/13..
