Can OPR live up to the hype? - maybe

Its very obvious to every english football fan that QPR have made the most signings in this summer transfer market. The question is, have they made the right signings?

Well lets go back to this January where QPR were struggling down in the reglation zone and everything was looking very dull at Loftus Road. Then after his appointment, new manager Mark Hughes made his first marks in the fans hearts. Why? It is0 they brought in two experianced strikers who have played in the best league in the world. With help from Chairman Tony Fernandes QPR are rapidly turning into a strong side...

Bobby Zamora from Fulham and Djibril Cisse from Lazio cost them a combined total  of £9.8 million and they were certianly fan favourites after some of their goals proved to be the reason they eventually stayed up.Another decent signing and one for the future was Nedum Onuoha from Manchester City for a fee of £4.7 million. This helped because they were able to sort out their defence problems (sort of) and moving on, the loan signings of Samba Diakite and Taye Taiwo were crucial as not only did it bring on more experiance but Diakite's winning goal against Arsenal was something that the fans will most definitely not forget.

Moving onto the new season, QPR fans can finally feel a little less pressure as thier team is shaping up to be a strong side as they look to make thier relegation battles of last season a distant memory. This is due to the players Mark Hughes has brought in.
Mark Hughes managed to secure the services of midfielder Ji-Sung Park in which was quite surprising as it always seemed Fergie saw him as a top player within Man Utd's squad. Park has suplime work rate and im sure he will flourish within QPR's squad. Also, Hughes has brought in Junior Hoilett as QPR managed to see off German opposition for the talented young midfielder's signature. With an abundance of skill and pace he will certianly trouble defences this year. Robert Green is another signing which will boost the experiance ranks throughtout the squad. Despite his England howlers, Green is an excellent shot stopper and im sure Fans are happy to have him inbetween the posts for the upcoming season. The London club have also secured the services of Andy Johnson,Ryan Nelson and Man Utd starlet Fabio(loan). It is also rumoured that Dimitar Berbatov is on his way to QPR so its looking like they are certianly ready for the new season and they could shock a few people by attempting a top half finish!

Who knows?
